COURSE DESCRIPTION

SWASHBUCKLING PAINT BRUSHES – EN GARDE!

Beginning/Intermediate Drawing, Sketching, and Water Coloring

Does the International Color Wheel determine what you’re going to wear today? You bet it does! And it’s so much fun! …purple with green….:-O, orange with chartreuse: ☹ Anything goes these days!

Join us in our VPE Art Class as we explore all types of drawing, sketching, water color painting, pastels and learning different types of artistic techniques from artists such as Monet, Matisse, van Gough, Picasso, Warhol. We will also be “dabbling” in some reading, writing and research about these famous painters. How about a field trip to the High Museum of Atlanta as well? We’ll also have our own VPE Art Exhibit so the entire world (😊) can see our beautiful student work.

Come join us (and be prepared to get messy!)
