THIS COURSE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 6 STUDENTS!
This unique social studies course incorporates a thorough Georgia history, geography and government study following a comprehensive America History course and timeline which will be taught utilizing film, literature and writing. Students will spend 1.5-2 hours each week in a classroom setting but will be expected to spend time outside of that hour to watch assigned films/movies, read historical novels and produce written assignments based on the period under study. If possible, students will be expected to participate in relevant field trips. Online field trips will also be provided. There will also be group projects. Students in this class will receive a high school credit for both American History or Georgia History and High School Literature/Composition so the work outside of class will be commensurate with those expectations.
The teacher will provide all textbooks and literature.
$80 per month – 9 months
