THIS COURSE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 6 STUDENTS!
This course will help the students become familiar with the fundamentals of digital photography. Major topics covered include how cameras work, how composition works, how lighting works, and how to use photo editing software. Through discussion, demonstration, and peer review, students will work weekly on assignments that culminate into thematic projects of interest. The goal is to see what makes a successful photo and what does not. Access to a digital camera is essential for this class. Compact digital cameras are ok but SLR digital cameras are preferred.
Use of a computer will be important for photo storage and project work.
