THIS COURSE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 6 STUDENTS!
The Georgia Studies course is a comprehensive study of the geography, history, government, and economics of Georgia. Students will also read, analyze, discuss, and write about works of literature from Georgia authors presented throughout the year. Field trips will be planned throughout the year to enhance the student's perspective of topics being discussed. This class is appropriate for a middle school student in grades 7-8 or a high school student in grades 9-10 (as a social studies or an elective as well as a Language Arts credit).
